About

HMeey, Welcome to my blog. My name is Veena and I live in Leicester, United Kingdom. I have a full-time job as a Data Analyst in a Retail Consultancy. Blogging fits perfectly into my evenings and weekends. It is my passion and helps me unwind after a long day of analyzing data. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, travelling to different cities and countries to explore different cultures. I love Bollywood and enjoy a good game of cricket.

This blog is a place where I share about myself, my opinions and my world. The things I will be sharing will be the happenings in my life, things that are on my mind, things I wonder about and general topics that affect me. It will be about the way I see the world and how I interpret everything within.

My blog was launched at the end of 2017, as a blog for general reading. If you love random blogs about everyday life, you’ll feel right at home here. I will be writing about different topics each time and trying to connect myself to it as much as possible to allow it to be a blog that is personal to me and not just a general blog. I will write freely as myself to ensure I can give my clear views on it.

From my blog posts, as a reader, you will have access to some light and casual reading. Nothing too strong or overpowering. You’ll be able to know me and my world better and share your own views on the topic with me and other readers. I am very new to this, so I’m learning and discovering new things as I go along. As my readers, you can follow me on my journey.

I have always loved writing from a young age. English was my favourite subject in school, I really enjoyed it. Don’t know if it was because English was a subject where there was no correct answer or because I was able to be creative and add my own touches to my responses. In my spare time during college, I used to write my own poetry, just small poems. I never really shared them with anyone. Through university, I began to write daily journals about my day, my life and my feelings. I always felt good writing things down to clear my mind compared to speaking to someone about how I felt. I have always had a passion for writing but time was always a concern.

After speaking to a friend at work who pointed me towards an online course for writing, I felt this was the perfect time to do something about my passion and here I am. I hope you enjoyed your visit and hope you keep in touch.

Please see below my details on my social media networks where you can see more about me.

Veena xx
